OHIO REPUBLICAN GRASSROOTS STATEWIDE GROUP LABELED “PHONY” BY OHIO REPUBLICAN PARTY CHAIRWOMAN JANE TIMKEN

The Ohio Republican PAC is a women-led, statewide grassroots group of Republicans who have come together to promote Republican candidates supporting adherence to the United States and Ohio Constitutions, individual responsibility, smaller government and greater economic freedom.
In an interview conducted by Hannah Ohio Capital Connection on January 21, 2020, Jane Timken, Chairwoman of the Ohio Republican Party declared the grassroots citizens group Ohio Republican PAC “phony” with respect to the group’s endorsement of social and fiscal conservative Republican State Senate candidate Candice Keller.
Kelly Kohls, President of the Ohio Republican PAC, upon learning of Ms. Timken’s comments stated, “I am surprised by GOP Chairwoman Timken’s comments. At a time when the Republican Party should be ‘firing up’ the grassroots, she has chosen to label our efforts as ‘phony’. Our group is dismayed by Chairwoman Timken’s comments but not deterred in the effort to promote conservative candidates like Candice Keller, with or without the Chairwoman’s support.”
Candidate Candice Keller was endorsed for the 4th District State Senate seat because of her leadership in passing the pro-life Heartbeat Bill, her unwavering support for Second Amendment rights and her fiscal conservatism including her opposition to a taxpayer bailout of a multi-state power company.

The ORP and the Butler County Republican Party have lost their moral compass. 5 years ago they didn’t know what Conservative even meant.
