Ohio’s Energy Grid Frequency and InertiaJon Morrow
As Ohio’s Energy Costs have risen while inputs like Natural Gas, Coal, and Nuclear costs have fallen dramatically, a tremendous amount of people have asked me why? Why has the cost of energy (electricity) not fallen more precipitously? Why do we not have electricity costs as low as say, Oklahoma? To understand this is to understand the dynamics and politics of the Ohio grid. I am apologizing in advance for the poor production value as I am making this on my own dime. I intend to make a series of video shorts on Ohio’s energy grid. This will hopefully help people make better decisions about things like HB6 and ask better questions of their legislators.
