Dear Clark County residents,
My name is Tina Elliott Bleything and I am running for the position of Common Pleas Clerk of Courts. With my experience and leadership style, and attributes I am well qualified to serve our community in the capacity as the Clerk of Courts. My education in the county school system and Business Administration Associates degree from Clark State have prepared me to run the clerks office with integrity and efficiency.
For thirty-four consecutive years, I worked in County Government with the Clark County Department of Job and Family Services and the Madison County Department of Job and Family Services. For the past three years, I have worked as a Realtor and served on the Springfield Board of Realtor’s, which has made me even more aware of our community’s needs.
As a life long resident of Clark County, my husband Clint and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary. We have two sons; Matt, who lives with us because that is how we can best care for his needs, and Tony who works at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office in addition to serving in the Armed Forces. We raised our family in the Lutheran faith to respect all individuals of different cultures, denomination and to embrace diversity. In addition to my immediate family, my career and volunteer work are further evidence that you can count on me. Commitments to family and work are not something I have ever taken lightly
We are a community well served by our arts organizations of which I am proud to say that I am in my second year on the Springfield Arts Council. An ideal summer evening for us involves being in Veteran’s Park to take in a show. Prompting the arts in our community through volunteering is important to me in any capacity.
As Clerk of Courts, my aim is to:
  • Serve the citizens of Clark County by maintaining accurate and organized records of court proceedings
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service to citizens, attorneys, judges, probation officers, and business owners
  • Direct a positive working environment for citizens and staff
Please know that I am a straightforward, organized, team player who is ready to lead as Clerk of Courts and I am asking for your vote first in the March Primary and then in November 2020. Please reach out to me with questions or concerns you might have. I welcome any input or ideas to help me succeed.
Respectfully,
Tina Elliott Bleything
